Embracing a subtle, warm style, pianist Emily Mazzarella crafts fresh renditions of jazz standards and American Songbook classics. Whether teaching or performing, she reimagines familiar tunes to resonate with modern audiences.

Based in Worcester and Boston, Emily maintains a private piano studio where she is passionate about helping students develop essential skills to achieve authentic performance. Outside the studio, she performs both solo and with ensembles for venues and private events.

Emily holds a B.A. in Music from Westfield State University, where she studied piano under the tutelage of James Argiro. Previously, she served as a church music director for over 7 years, leading a choir and playing piano at weekly services.  She is licensed to teach K-12 music in the state of Massachusetts.
